My friend's boyfriend wrote her a long break-up letter and sent it via email. When he talked to her later on that night, he was shocked she didn't 'get his letter'. He explained what he had done, she checked her email and nothing was there. He checked his sent box and it never 'sent'. He expressed great relief having felt like a total mess the entire day, not knowing if he would have regret his decision.
They put it behind them, thinking it was a "sign" of sorts that the email never went through. And that they should still be together. They've been together for 3 or more years. Oh and they're in a long distance relationship, they've met several times and just have their share of problems. Both are feeling the strain of the distance.
Anyhow, She wants to read the letter he wrote that never went through. Because they are having those problems yet again and both feel like the relationship is near it's end. She wants to see what he wrote in this '4 page letter'. Yet she is afraid to read it and asked me if she should. I honestly don't know what to tell her.
What if she reads it and it's something she's not expecting or worse? What should she do? What would you do or tell your friend in this situation??
i would tell my friend to read it if she really wanted to know. but i would express to her it may be something unpleasant in there. i would also suggest to her to break the relationship and still remain frienbreak up letters boyfriendds with this person. it's hard to be there for someone when there not there physically, you know what i mean? just comfort her and do the best you can do as a friend. that's all any body can do.
maybe have him send you the message and you read it first and if you think it is okthen let her read it..

I wouldn't do it. What good would it do? It's a 3 year old letter, and it doesn't do much good to say that they could have broken up then, because they didn't. The e-mail won't solve anything, if anything it sounds like it might cause more problems for them.
if its a 4 page letter its gonna be a lot of reading things she is not gonna want to hear. but if they are getting ready to break up then she should read it. it would kill me to not know what it says. i say read it.
Why don't you read it first, if that is ok, and then see if you think it is ok give it to her to read.

I would tell my friend that she should move on. Her boyfrind is stupid for emailing a break up letter. It shows that he is a wimp and he is a coward for not facing up to her. Tell your friend that she deserves better.
I would tell her that there is no use in reading it. What he wrote then has no doubt been SAID by him since then, so there is no need. Also, it's healthier to just try to face the current problems head on and get them behind you. No use in wallowing in the past.
How would she read this letter if it never went through? If she has to pry into his email, then no she shouldn't. If he has sent it, then it would be ok to read.
if she wants to read it and know what the guy really thinks of her, then let her. but the thing is that she also needs to understand that the truth hurts. if he feels a certain way and she doesnt like it, theres nothing she can do about it. all im sating is let her be ready to read it before bad things happen. or she can just drop it and pretend nothing happened

Well, we can easily invalidate this quote using logic. If I can show you any other human characteristic that, when brought into play, causes humans not to love more readily than they hate, then the quote is invalid. It makes a singular exception for selfishness, which may not be enough.
Probably, the quote would be more difficult to invalidate if we (charitably) throw in every human vice we can think of along with selfishness, and THEN try to think of a way to doubt it:

This is almost a tautology or truism by itself: what we're saying is that, if we throw out all our vices, we're all snuggly. WELL OF COURSE! That's pretty self-evident: the very notion of "our vices" is to capture the things that make us act in a blameworthy manner. Without them, we would have nothing but our essentially good traits.
Of course, there is (or was) a debate, grounded in religious belief at the time, as to whether the human spirit is inherently good or inherently evil. Puritans believed it was inherently evil, and we had to make a conscious effort to try and fight back that evil. So to get rid of our vices, for a Puritan, would be like getting rid of our very essence.

I don't know about you but I'm tired of walking around with the same hoodie as everyone else. So I've decided to make my own but I'm not entirely sure how. hi, me again. i answered one of your questions a few days ago about the sweater which by the way isnt as cheaply made as i had presumed. the print on the front is cheap, that could eascreate your own hoodieily be done using silkscreen printing. what isn't so cheap is the blend of material that was used for the sweater and the cut which looked to be pretty unique. if it were a hundred percent cotton then yeah it would be a lot cheaper.
depending where you are located you might be able to find a place that can do silkscreen printing nearby. to take your design to the next level you could integrate embroidery which could be costly depending what you want done. there are a number of things you could do, socreate your own hoodieme of it more costly than others and other things are just hard to come by like studs - i can never find studs anywhere. get creative, use different methods, use your imagination or keep it basic/simple.
i would check ebay for a cheap plain sweater and go from there. there might be some high schools or colleges nearby with students willing to do the work. someone in your family might even know how to embroider and you don't even know it. utilize the skills of others.

Okay now i'm asking this with the greatest respect, because i really respect vegans and i would be fully vegan if i truly believed that what i'm eating has caused pain or suffering to animals; but i don't understand why vegans don't eat eggs? I mean the battery produced eggs, that reason is obvious. I will only eat what i believe to be free range eggs and drink free range milk. But if you knew the egg was completely free range, like a chicken had laid it and it was living in comfortable and acceptable conditions why wouldn't you eat it? And don't say "Because its come from an animal." I know what a vegan is.
I only want answers from vegans or people who know the reason.

Here's where I believe the reasoning comes from: we shouldn't infringe on what other creatures produce for their own survival. Bees make honey to feed their larvae. Cow's produce milk to feed their young. Hens lay eggs to produce young. Even if you're buying organic milk and eggs, you're still taking from those animals. It takes a lot of energy for them to make those products and we just take from them. Also, our agricultural practices (even organic, free range ones) involve keeping the animals in unnatural states. For example, keeping a cow lactating for as long as possible in order to maximize milk profits.
That being said, I contemplated becoming vegan, but I really love cheese, yogurt, eggs and fish so much! Like you, I always choose the organic, free range products, and I think that is a positive step. If we all made changes like that in our diets, we'd make some real progress in how humans treat other species.
Hey Claire, If you have hens that you care for and love dearly -- there is no cruelty as I see it. If you want to eat their unfertilized eggs, I think they would happily give them to you and there would be nothing cruel or wrong with that. No Cages + No Killing + Love = OK :o)
I appreciate these comments as well. I am a vegetarian (extra committed now that I've read "Eating Animals" by Jonathan Safran Foer), and seriously contemplating veganism. I do have access to wonderful local produce and cruelty-free eggs & dairy...
I'm a vegetarian, not a vegan. That being said, Vegans take vegetarianism one step further, and will not eat any item that is made from the flesh or is produced from an animal.
They don't wear leather or suede they don't buy down pillows, they don't eat meat, they don't eat eggs, they don't eat yogurt, gravy.
There are various reasons for this: obviously, they don't want to eat animals. They also don't want to eat the products that animals give for their babies. Furthermore, they don't want any animals to suffer for the Vegan's own benefit of consumption of food. They don't want to eat products that could have been a viable baby animal.
The ironic part, though, and I know this because I know lots of Vegans-- is that many vegans are also pro-choice in dealing with the subject of abortion. So they argue against killing viable baby animals, but say nothing against aborting viable baby humans.
There is enormous cruelty involved in producing eggs from "free range" hens as well. Have you ever thought about what happens to the chicks born to lay eggs that aren't hens (females)??? They arewhy vegans don't eat eggs either crushed alive or stuffed in garbage bags to suffocate or otherwise "disposed of." They are not raised to be eaten -- they are not the right kind of chickens. The brutal truth is -- they are killed without any regard to the pain they must suffer dying. Not the slightest bit of compassion is shown to these little living creatures that are the unfortunate unwanted product of the egg industry -- "free range" or not.
Free-Range, by definition, means that the animal runs free, is not caged, and basically does what he/she would do in nature. Here's where I believe the reasoning comes from: we shouldn't infringe on what other creatures produce for their own survival. Bees make honey to feed their larvae. Cow's produce milk to feed their young. Hens lay eggs to produce young. Even if you're buying organic milk and eggs, you're still taking from those animals. It takes a lot of energy for them to make those products and we just take from them. Also, our agricultural practices (even organic, free range ones) involve keeping the animals in unnatural states. For example, keeping a cow lactating for as long as possible in order to maximize milk profits.
That being said, I contemplated becoming vegan, but I really love cheese, yogurt, eggs and fish so much! Like you, I always choose the organic, free range products, and I think that is a positive step. If we all made changes like that in our diets, we'd make some real progress in how humans treat other species.
Hey Claire, If you have hens that you care for and love dearly -- there is no cruelty as I see it. If you want to eat their unfertilized eggs, I think they would happily give them to you and there would be nothing cruel or wrong with that. No Cages + No Killing + Love = OK :o)

I'm a vegetarian, not a vegan. That being said, Vegans take vegetarianism one step further, and will not eat any item that is made from the flesh or is produced from an animal.
They don't wear leather or suede they don't buy down pillows, they don't eat meat, they don't eat eggs, they don't eat yogurt, gravy.
There are various reasons for this: obviously, they don't want to eat animals. They also don't want to eat the products that animals give for their babies. Furthermore, they don't want any animals to suffer for the Vegan's own benefit of consumption of food. They don't want to eat products that could have been a viable baby animal.
The ironic part, though, and I know this because I know lots of Vegans-- is that many vegans are also pro-choice in dealing with the subject of abortion. So they argue against killing viable baby animals, but say nothing against aborting viable baby humans.
There is enormous cruelty involved in producing eggs from "free range" hens as well. Have you ever thought about what happens to the chicks born to lay eggs that aren't hens (females)??? They arewhy vegans don't eat eggs either crushed alive or stuffed in garbage bags to suffocate or otherwise "disposed of." They are not raised to be eaten -- they are not the right kind of chickens. The brutal truth is -- they are killed without any regard to the pain they must suffer dying. ok I am planning on going on a detox diet for 3 days, instead of drinking junices and vegetable, I do plan to eat them. I plan to eat fruits salad and vegetable salad, drink soup, water and fruit juices for three days. I know I need to detox becasue I have dark circles, pimples, stomach gas, and bad breath. do u think after going through this diet, this problems i have would be eliminated?
I just finished doing a detox which sounds similar. I only ate fresh fruit and vegetables, beans and legumes and drank heaps of water and green tea. I didn't take all the pills and potions that you get from the health food shop but just ate really good food. I did it for 6 days and felt absolutely fantastic afterwards with heaps of energy. You need to make sure that after ddetox dietoing detox that you do start to eat a wider variety of healthy foods such as fish, chicken, lean red meat and dairy products again. I have managed to keep off the caffeine and alcohol and reduced the amount of red meat I eat and replaced it with fish (although I still do eat red meat a couple of times per week). Not sure if all your problems will be eliminated but it certainly can't hurt and you will feel fantastic...good luck!!!

a detox can't hurt, you may not just be contaminated with food prdetox dietoducts, you could also have any number of chemical, smoke, cleaning stuff etc..... in your system. the environment carries many things your body would rather do without. i think for those you need to also try a cleanse from a health food store, to push some of these out of your system.

- Impact starts with an MEM promo. All of the MEM is out. There were so many boos that you could not make out what Kurt was saying. I heard that they were celebrating the MEM being around for a year and was essentially a pep talk showing how everyone needs to win their matches at BFG.
AJ/Beer Money/Matt Morgan/Hernandez/Team 3D come out on the ramp. Ray says that everyone is tired of the MEM. He hands the mic to the champ and calls BFG a make or break show in terms of the Mafia's tenure in TNA. Says they are 3 days away from the MEM ceasing to exist. Matt Morgan says he is not waiting 3 days. He runs down to the ring along with the rest on the ramp and a brawl starts. Security broke it up.
- The Beautiful People (Velvet Sky/Lacey Von Erich/Madison Rayne) vs. ODB/Amazing Kong with Raisha Saeed/Tara
This match did not last long. Kong and Tara got in a disagreement and Kong left. Then ODB and Victoria got in a disagreement and she left ODB by herself to get pinned by Velvet. Lacey was hardly in the match to my recollection. Lasted about 3 minutes.
- X-Division Title Match: Amazing Red (C) with DON WEST vs. Suicide
Needless to say I marked for this decision because back in the weekly PPV days, Don ALWAYS marked for Red including standing on the announce table and chanted "GO RED GO" in a couple matches. The match itself was good at about 3:40 in time. The Pope interfered and the match was ruled a no contest. Pope went to attack Suicide as Red looked on but Red hit Pope with a dropkick to send Pope to the back.
- Hernandez in a gauntlet match against The British Invasion.
Eric Young is on commentary for this. Hernandez enters (in his old LAX gear AKA white wifebeater/khaki shorts). He gets in Eric Young's face and says something on the mic but I could not hear it. Doug Williams comes out and is eliminated in about a minute. Brutus Magnus is eliminated in about 2. Rob Terry is last and is taken out with a brutal Liger Bomb by Hernandez in about a 4 minute gauntlet. EY jumps Hernandez and he and the British Invasion beat him down.
- Christopher Daniels beat The Pope in about a 5 minute match via The Angel's Wings. Pretty good for what it was. Suicide runs out after the match and looks like he is going to go after the Pope but goes after Daniels instead and hits a Gringo Killer on Daniels and unmasks as Homicide. I am assuming Homicide somehow acquired Suicide's gear but I was a little confused by that.
- There is a lounge chair in the ring. Mick Foley comes out with a bowl of popcorn and sits in it. He essentially called Abyss "good for a Foley knockoff." He then airs some clips of Abyssiv make your decision spoilers. He shows Abyss with Mitchell calling having an evil manager "original." He shows Abyss pouring tacks in Monster's Ball III at BFG 06 mentioning how he did that in 1995. He then shows Abyss going through the flaming table at BFG IV saying how he did that with Edge in what was considered the Match of the Year. Abyss comes out with a Barbed Wire Bat. He pushes Foley out of the chair and holds the bat against him. A video is shown on the screen of (whom I assume to be Lauren) with her back to the camera and Stevie holding her. Foley tells Abyss to go find her. He runs to the back. They did not show the end to this segment. I would assume that it was Daffney disguised as Lauren and she and Stevie jumped Abyss.
- Alissa Flash vs. Ayako Hamada in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
Pretty fun little brawl. Some spots included a curb stomp off the floor, Ayako doing a flipping senton onto Melissa from the ramp to the side of the stage. Ayako won via moonsault through a table on the outside in about 5 minutes. It was good and will probably come off better on TV.
- Bobby Lashley vs. Rhino in a Stretcher match.
Rules for this were you had to put your opponent on a stretcher and take him to the back. Not much better than their PPV match in September. Rhino went for a Gore through the stage setup (ala Abyss/Angle at Turning Point last year) but Lashley got out of the way. Lashley won the match in 5:24. He had some problems putting Rhino in the ambulance so he essentially had Rhino on the stretcher and just kind of dumped him into the ambulance for the win.
- AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle (Non title)
Not to overhype this, but to me, this was one of the best matches in Impact history. Up there with the likes of Joe/Daniels in 06, AJ & Dutt & Aries/Joe & Daniels & Shelley in 05, and Storm/Harris in 07. It ended in a very competitive 20 minute draw. As far as star ratings go, I would put it in the AV儿劣3/4 to AV儿劣*1/4 margin. They literally busted out everything and then some (no spiral tap spotting though). Unlike how the Orlando crowd can be, they were really into the match and did not bust out a "This is awesome" chant until about 15 to 16 minutes into the match. The last 30 seconds had Angle hold AJ in the Ankle Lock but AJ did not tap as the time limit expired. Sting comes down after the match and AJ ignored him. He got on
- Perfect way to start the show. I can't wait for Bound for Glory! Should be a monumental night and a turning point (no pun intended) for TNA.
- Kong vs. Tara feud has been booked poorly. I'm not liking it at all. It's been the same scenario every week on iMPACT, and if I'm honest, I'm more intrigued biv make your decision spoilersy the Hamada/Flash rivalry. I hope we get to see a fantastic Ayako/Alissa match at BFG.
- Nice to see Don West back. Dinero/Suicide feud is heating up. Sounds like an okay match.
- I'd like to thank God that Hernandez has reverted back to his old LAX attire. Super Mex's tight briefs were just a no-no. It's shaping up to be Hernandez vs. Eric Young at BFG. Should be a great match and I hope it's not a squash match (see No Surrender '09).
- Homicide dressed up as Suicide? I can't wait to see that!
- I'm praying that Mick Foley/Abyss feud goes way past Bound for Glory. Their feud is getting more and more interesting by the week. There's only one think I don't like about this program. Why are Daffney and Dr. Stevie involved? They should just put their storyline to rest and let Foley and Abyss go at it by themselves.
- Sounds like an awesome match. Hamada is awesome. And so is Flash! As I said before, their feud is more exciting than Kong vs. Tara. Can't wait to see the Moonsault through the table on iMPACT!
- Not too excited for this match. First off, I thought Team 3D were feuding with Rhino? And what happened to the Lashley/Joe feud? TNA confuses me sometimes with their booking of storylines.
- This sounds like a great match. Angle and AJ both have alot of chemistry and I can't wait to see twenty minutes of two of the best performers in the world. And Styles ignoring Sting as he came down for the save? This program just hit another level!

This match did not last long. Kong and Tara got in a disagreement and Kong left. Then ODB and Victoria got in a disagreement and she left ODB by herself to get pinned by Velvet. Lacey was hardly in the match to my recollection. Lasted about 3 minutes.
- X-Division Title Match: Amazing Red (C) with DON WEST vs. Suicide
Needless to say I marked for this decision because back in the weekly PPV days, Don ALWAYS marked for Red including standing on the announce table and chanted "GO RED GO" in a couple matches. The match itself was good at about 3:40 in time. The Pope interfered and the match was ruled a no contest. Pope went to attack Suicide as Red looked on but Red hit Pope with a dropkick to send Pope to the back.
- Hernandez in a gauntlet match against The British Invasion.
Eric Young is on commentary for this. Hernandez enters (in his old LAX gear AKA white wifebeater/khaki shorts). He gets in Eric Young's face and says something on the mic but I could not hear it. Doug Williams comes out and is eliminated in about a minute. Brutus Magnus is eliminated in about 2. Rob Terry is last and is taken out with a brutal Liger Bomb by Hernandez in about a 4 minute gauntlet. EY jumps Hernandez and he and the British Invasion beat him down.
- Christopher Daniels beat The Pope in about a 5 minute match via The Angel's Wings. Pretty good for what it was. Suicide runs out after the match and looks like he is going to go after the Pope but goes after Daniels instead and hits a Gringo Killer on Daniels and unmasks as Homicide. I am assuming Homicide somehow acquired Suicide's gear but I was a little confused by that.
- There is a lounge chair in the ring. Mick Foley comes out with a bowl of popcorn and sits in it. He essentially called Abyss "good for a Foley knockoff." He then airs some clips of Abyssiv make your decision spoilers. He shows Abyss with Mitchell calling having an evil manager "original." He shows Abyss pouring tacks in Monster's Ball III at BFG 06 mentioning how he did that in 1995. He then shows Abyss going through the flaming table at BFG IV saying how he did that with Edge in what was considered the Match of the Year. Abyss comes out with a Barbed Wire Bat. He pushes Foley out of the chair and holds the bat against him. A video is shown on the screen of (whom I assume to be Lauren) with her back to the camera and Stevie holding her. Foley tells Abyss to go find her. He runs to the back. They did not show the end to this segment. I would assume that it was Daffney disguised as Lauren and she and Stevie jumped Abyss.
- Alissa Flash vs. Ayako Hamada in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
Pretty fun little brawl. Some spots included a curb stomp off the floor, Ayako doing a flipping senton onto Melissa from the ramp to the side of the stage. Ayako won via moonsault through a table on the outside in about 5 minutes. It was good and will probably come off better on TV.
- Bobby Lashley vs. Rhino in a Stretcher match.
Rules for this were you had to put your opponent on a stretcher and take him to the back. Not much better than their PPV match in September. Rhino went for a Gore through the stage setup (ala Abyss/Angle at Turning Point last year) but Lashley got out of the way. Lashley won the match in 5:24. He had some problems putting Rhino in the ambulance so he essentially had Rhino on the stretcher and just kind of dumped him into the ambulance for the win.
- AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle (Non title)
Not to overhype this, but to me, this was one of the best matches in Impact history. Up there with the likes of Joe/Daniels in 06, AJ & Dutt & Aries/Joe & Daniels & Shelley in 05, and Storm/Harris in 07. It ended in a very competitive 20 minute draw. As far as star ratings go, I would put it in the AV儿劣3/4 to AV儿劣*1/4 margin. They literally busted out everything and then some (no spiral tap spotting though). Unlike how the Orlando crowd can be, they were really into the match and did not bust out a "This is awesome" chant until about 15 to 16 minutes into the match. The last 30 seconds had Angle hold AJ in the Ankle Lock but AJ did not tap as the time limit expired. Sting comes down after the match and AJ ignored him. He got on
- Perfect way to start the show. I can't wait for Bound for Glory! Should be a monumental night and a turning point (no pun intended) for TNA.
- Kong vs. Tara feud has been booked poorly. I'm not liking it at all. It's been the same scenario every week on iMPACT, and if I'm honest, I'm more intrigued biv make your decision spoilersy the Hamada/Flash rivalry. I hope we get to see a fantastic Ayako/Alissa match at BFG.
- Nice to see Don West back. Dinero/Suicide feud is heating up. Sounds like an okay match.
- I'd like to thank God that Hernandez has reverted back to his old LAX attire. Super Mex's tight briefs were just a no-no. It's shaping up to be Hernandez vs. Eric Young at BFG. Should be a great match and I hope it's not a squash match (see No Surrender '09).
- Homicide dressed up as Suicide? I can't wait to see that!
- I'm praying that Mick Foley/Abyss feud goes way past Bound for Glory. Their feud is getting more and more interesting by the week. There's only one think I don't like about this program. Why are Daffney and Dr. Stevie involved? They should just put their storyline to rest and let Foley and Abyss go at it by themselves.
- Sounds like an awesome match. Hamada is awesome. And so is Flash! As I said before, their feud is more exciting than Kong vs. Tara. Can't wait to see the Moonsault through the table on iMPACT!
- Not too excited for this match. First off, I thought Team 3D were feuding with Rhino? And what happened to the Lashley/Joe feud? TNA confuses me sometimes with their booking of storylines.
- This sounds like a great match. Angle and AJ both have alot of chemistry and I can't wait to see twenty minutes of two of the best performers in the world. And Styles ignoring Sting as he came down for the save? This program just hit another level!

TNA is so much better than WWE. Only a TRUE wrestling fan would know that. But, sadly, there are idiots who are easily fooled by hype,There is substantially MUCH more wrestling in one weekly TNA show than all FOUR weekly WWE shows combined.
