It's been really humid on my daily jogs through my neighborhood, and I'm trying my best to stay cool, should I go without my shirt on my route? I think that would be the best thing but I'm worried about people yelling at me.
The people yelling are usually people who would never go shirtless out of embarrassment about the way they look. They yell out of their own insecurities. I will go shirtless only when it is very hot and carry my shishirtless dailyrt or attach it to my waist. If I stop to talk to someone I will immediately put my shirt on out of respect. I will usually also not take off my shirt when I am close to my house around people who know me. I do these things not because I think its wrong to take off your shirt but understand people may be uncomfortable especially when you are up close and personal to someone. I will put my shirt back on after a run but wait about 5 to 10 shirtless dailyminutes until I cool down enough that I am no longer sweating and I am starting to dry up. On the really hot days it is nice to be able to put on a dry shirt if you are not immediately going home for a while. Once your shirt is saturated it is worse especially if you are not going back for a while or have to go into a car all sweaty.
Sure why not? I go shirtless on my run most of the time. It's more comfortable.
