I really want some more ipod songs and I was wondering if anyone knew a way to download some songs for free without it being illegal and I don't want my computer to get a virus either.

I recommend beep3.com or airmp3.com. beemp3 is faster but airmp3 has more songs.
If you've got an iPod then the only site you can download music from is iTunes. No other website is compatible with an iPod. Apple have done this so that once you own an iPod, you have to keep on buying from them by using iTunes if you want to put music onto it. Oh, and downloading music for free is illegal, it's the same as stealing. If you get caught, you face a large fine. It's much easier and cheaper to stick to buying your music from iTunes.
Before we get into answering the question, I just want to clarify that you can't legally downdownload free songs for ipodload free music. Downloading without paying is illegal, just know that.
Next up, there's an old saying - "you get what you pay for" - if you don't pay for it, its not going to be as good a quality, or might have other things like viruses involved.
So lets add 2 and 2 together, by downloading music without paying for it, you are breaking the law and risking a virus on your computer. Answer looks simple to me. Pay for the music or take the risks.

I don't know a website but youdownload free songs for ipod can download a program called Lime wire and use that. It CAN give viruses so you just hit the preview button while downloading and if it doesn't play then it's a virus/trojan. And it's legal in Canada, not sure where you live or if it's okay there. Good luck. ALthough you REALLY should just get your songs from iTunes...
No such place exists ~ First it's a copyright infringement to download music with legally purchasing. Second, I would be scared to death to download anything from the sharewares.
